Project Description Country: USA Location: Girdwood Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Equipment Purchase Promoting Community Health Fair Rotary Club of Girdwood sponsors and supports the Girdwood Health Fair, offering free health education, screenings and affordable blood tests. We are seeking funds to purchase temporary shelter equipment to protect from the rain and weather while promoting the Health Fair and other community enriching sponsored events. A 10x12 tent will provide temporary shelter and help identify our club while promoting Rotary's mission, specifically with the improvement of health and wellness. The tent will feature Girdwood Rotary branding and should be completed within 4-8 months with shipping.
