Project Description

Country: USA

Location: Johnstown, Colorado

Total Budget: $450

Area of Focus: None

Activity Type: RI Youth Programs (Youth Exchange, RYLA, Rotaract, Interact)

Summary: Provide funds for the operation of the Johnstown Milliken Interact Club.

The Interact would use the grant money to outfit our members and potential members with an Interact Club T-Shirt. we have found that Giving out free t-shirts can help with recruitment efforts for several reasons:

1. Awareness: When people wear the t-shirt, they essentially become walking advertisements for the club company. This increases visibility and recognition, potentially attracting more members who are familiar with and interested in joining the club.

2. Positive Association: Free t-shirts have created a positive impression for our club in the past.

3. Engagement and Interaction: Offering free t-shirts can/has drawn people to our club which will/has provided opportunities to engage with potential members and discuss our club's mission in a more informal and friendly setting.

4. Community Building: Providing free t-shirts can foster a sense of community and belonging among club members and potential members, making them feel connected to the club from the outset.

Roy,

Can you change the description to something a little more detailed dealing with the recycling program. I know they probably don't know what they will do till next fall but I need some details and a tentative budget of income and expenses. Once their project is finalized you can add an addendum to the description saying what they are actually doing. You can also add a new budget if needed.

Roy,

I apologize for the delay in paying your grant. For the first time we received more grant requests than DDF was available. We cannot request the DDF till the report balances. To make that happen we have decided to cut the DDF from every grant. Your DDF request of $300 will be reduced to $270.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Roy,

I sent an email about 10 days ago about information we need to approve our grants report. Did you get it and the form you need to complete?
