Project Description Country: USA Location: Rupert Total Budget: $2,850 Area of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Provide Minidoka County School District with Feminine Hygiene Products Minidoka County School District has made us aware there is a large need for feminine hygiene products within our Middle and High schools. In doing some research, the administration at Minico High School informed us that 54% of the population at the school is classified as impoverished. The Rupert Club members would be purchasing and putting together hygiene kits in order to deliver them to the schools so that teens in need can use them. Our plan is to purchase approximately 100 boxes of Tampax Pearl 64 multi packs at $14.60 each and approximately 164 boxes of Always maxi pads 46 packs at $8.45. The figures we used include sales tax.
