Project Description Country: USA Location: Vista Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Community Development: Volunteer Services Summary: Provide monthly meals to mothers and children living in a shelter in Vista, California. A local organization called Operation Hope has reached out to us for assistance in providing food for the families living at their shelter. Our Club will provide meals on a monthly basis for one year, at Operation Hope, North County. This shelter houses homeless families, made up primarily of mothers and children. Our Club's goal is to provide nutritious meals and volunteers to deliver and serve the meals. Our members are involved in planning the menu, ordering/purchasing, delivering and serving the meals to the families.
