Project Description Country: USA Location: Southlake, TX Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Distribution of dictionaries to 3rd grade students in the Carroll ISD in Southlake, TX. Our club will acquire dictionaries from the Dictionary Project and place Southlake Rotary Club 4-way test stickers inside the front covers. We will then coordinate with CISD to personally deliver the books to the 3rd grade students in the district. Club members with help both with the sticker placement and the delivery of the books. Funds will be used to purchase the dictionaries and the Rotary Stickers for the inside covers. The project will be completed before the end of the 1st semester (12/2024).
