In the Dnipropetrovsk region of the Ukraine, there is the city of Nikopol, located on the opposite side of the Kakhovka reservoir, the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and Russian occupied territory. The city of Nikopol is shelled daily from the occupied territory, and it is impossible to conduct Ukrainian offensives since the nuclear power plant is on the opposite side, and there is a risk of its destruction. People in these areas are systematically suffering from shortages of water, food, medicines and basic necessities.
As a result of the shelling, there is often a restriction on the entry of cars into the city. But it is also important for these people to have wooden planks, oilcloth, and plywood, to repair broken windows, doors, and roofs that have been destroyed by the shelling. Such minor repairs allow people to keep their houses in a habitable condition (if they have not been completely destroyed.)
To address this, they need:
1. Building Repair Materials: plywood, OSB (sheets, oriented strand board), oilcloth, timbers, wooden planks, fasteners (nails, screws), and metal sheets (profile sheets).
2. Essentials: portable gas ovens, medicines for the elderly and children, towels, bed linen.
3. Food: - canned food condensed milk, instant cereals and pasta, oil.
