Project Description Country: USA Location: Idaho Falls Total Budget: $6,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Books for 3rd Graders Our club will work with the school district to find out how many third graders and teachers will be enrolled in the district for the 2025-2026 school year. We will order books through the scholastic program through the school district as they can order in bulk and have the books shipped to their warehouse. We have the superintendent in our club. We would request the district pay for half the books and the club will pay for the other half of the books. The books will help kids and teachers learn to read and to be able to work together in the classroom for literacy benefit. Reading books and doing reports also help the kids learn to write as they work on their homework associated with each book.
