Summary: Providing college scholarships to students graduating from the Poudre Scool District in Colorado.
Each year the Rotary Club of Fort Collins Breakfast accepts scholarship applications from students attending high school in the local school district. Rotarians screen approximately 100 applications and ultimately select two students to receive $6,000 scholarships, paid out over four years. The students are encouraged to attend our club when possible. Our club assigns a mentor for each scholarship recipient. We are applying for a $1,000 grant to help defray the cost of those scholarships. We currently have 8 students on scholarship with an annual cost of $12,000.
