Project Description Country: USA Location: Community Total Budget: $8,800 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Collectively, the initiatives support youth development, foster civic pride, and provide highly visible service opportunities for Rotary. This combined project includes three initiatives: RYLA, Graduation Celebration, and Night Among the Stars. Each promotes youth leadership, service, and educational achievement. - RYLA: A hands-on leadership camp for high school juniors, benefiting up to 7 student delegates directly and reaching 200-300 students through school outreach. - Graduation Celebration: A community-wide event honoring 650-700 seniors and engaging 1,500-2,000 total attendees. - Night Among the Stars: A gala recognizing 20-30 outstanding student volunteers, attended by ~150 community members.
