Project Description Region: Central America Country: Nicaragua Location: Ciudad Sandina Total Budget: $36,624 Area of Focus: Community economic development The Divine Salon project will work with 25 members of the LGBTQ community in Nicaragua to train them as Certified Basic Beauty Technicians so that they can be self sufficient. The project is expected to span a nine month period. Project funds will be used to purchase beauty supplies and equipment. The Jubilee House Community will partner on the grant by donating classroom space. Members of the Beauty Salon industry will donate time for teaching and consulting.
