Project Description Region: Asia Country: Armenia Location: Yerevan Total Budget: $155,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment Equipment of the newly built department of pedopsychology for adolescents in the National Center for Mental Health Care of Armenia. This will be the first one of this kind in Armenia. Mental Health is very poorly funded by the state and so far there were no dedicated place for adolescents (14-16 years). The Ministry of Health is presently constructing a new building and asked us to equip it with medical and administrative equipments. The AZNAVOUR FOUNDATION has already funded 2 projects in 2021-2022 and 2023 in this center and asked Rotary Clubs of Armenia to participate in the funding of this new project. They already committed 31,000 US$ (which is 20% of the total cost).
