The project Living With Health aims to acquire an endoscopy device for the São Vicente de Paulo Hospital Foundation, located in Capelinha, in the Jequitinhonha Valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil. This foundation serves a large area and population and faces difficulties accessing specialized medical services, compromising diagnoses of gastrointestinal diseases.
With the acquisition of the equipment, it will be possible to offer the exam within the institution itself, which will make diagnoses faster and more accurate. In addition, health professionals will be trained to operate the equipment, ensuring continuity of service and expanding care. The project also seeks to promote Rotary's social impact by encouraging a sustainable initiative that will benefit many people.
The requested funding includes the purchase of the endoscopy device and its accessories. Members of the Rotary Club of Capelinha will be actively involved in the project management, ensuring transparency in the use of funds, attracting partners and monitoring results over time.
The community will benefit from improved access to medical care and diagnostics. After the installation of the equipment, Rotary will assist in disseminating information about the new service so the project can reach its goal of providing better access to healthcare for the assisted population.
