Project Description Region: South America Country: Colombia Location: Neiva Total Budget: $32,200 Area of Focus: Community economic development NECESIDADES: Inseguridad alimentaria y desnutrición crónica infantil. Desempleo estructural, discriminación de género, desplazamiento y economía informal. Espacios residenciales subutilizados, desconocimiento de opciones de agricultura urbana. Manejo inadecuado de residuos orgánicos. Ausencia de programas de formación y acompañamiento. ATENCIÓN DE NECESIDADES : Instalación de unidades de sistemas productivos domésticos de agricultura orgánica sostenible en las viviendas con manejo de riego por goteo, apoyo y seguimiento técnico en los procesos de siembra, mantenimiento, cosecha y post-cosecha. Formación técnica con el apoyo del SENA y la UNIVERSIDAD CORHUILA, suministro de cartillas paso a paso y conformación de redes de apoyo comunitario. Generación de ingresos económicos para el grupo familiar garantizando la comercialización de los excedentes. CRONOGRAMA: El proyecto tendrá una duración de un (1) año, tiempo estimado para completar el proceso de formación teórico práctico, la recolección de 2 cosechas y el empoderamiento del grupo familiar.
