Areas of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention, Disease prevention and treatment, Water, sanitation and hygiene, Maternal and child health
The main objective of this project are to:
1. Increase the availability of reusable sanitary pads and other dignity kits to girls and young mothers.
2. To increase access to reusable sanitary pads to girls and young mothers.
3. To increase the self-esteem of girls and young women and to fight stigma concern menstrual phenomenon. 500 girls and mothers located in the two project sites will benefit from this projection in addition to 800 community members who will be educated and sensitized about menstrual hygiene issues to remove the stigma of these issues.
Expected outcomes include:
1. Reduced stigma attached to menstrual phenomenon in the target project locations.
2. Increased supply of suitable quality and adequate reusable sanitary pads.
3. Improved menstrual management and hygiene among girls and young women.
4. Increased peacebuilding skills and capabilities within target communities and regions to prevent future conflict.
5. Reduced infections related to menstrual bleeding.

Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
