	D-2262    South Africa - East London Pefferville Educare Centre $13,750 The intention of this Matching Grant is to provide the children at a very poor Preschool, suffering as a result of the legacy of the past in S.A., with much needed playground equipment, (in the form of a wooden jungle gym, swings and shade) a cover for the sandpit and build an obstacle course (designed to promote physical development); to provide the two classrooms with the essential equipment for a pre-school child and to provide a supply of good clean water borne toilets by revamping the unacceptable toilet facilities in place. In addition, it is intended to provide a water tank for water, fit for drinking and watering the vegetables needed for the nourishment of these children.
