Summary: The Perfect Place by Oakwood Creative Care
Oakwood Creative Care is a 501-C3 located in Chandler AZ. One of their initiatives is to provide a place and programming for our neighbors who suffer from memory loss and other associated issues. For several years, they have been providing programs like adult day care, education, therapy, and counseling for both the affected and their families. Two years ago, Oakwood Creative Care announced a capital project called the "Perfect Place". The Perfect Place is a concept that has a brick-and-mortar requirement. In Fall of 24 they were able to purchase a 12000 sq ft building on the corner of Alma School and Ray. They are in the process of building this out to meet the needs of the programs and services they will be offering. The Rotary Club of Sun Lakes would like to use this $1000 grant along with $1000 of money from our club to support this effort. The facility will be open for use this coming June and I foresee a long term commitment from The Rotary Club of Sun Lakes to the "Perfect Place"
